I'm Genesis! I'm a 19 year old pervert with a laptop.

2. How long have you been making websites?

I've dabbled with Neocities ever since I was like, 13.

3. And what got you into the hobby?

Bored, wanted to learn a new skill, liked decorating stuff.

4. What kind of website are you most interested in?

Whatever my site is. I like personal sites and blogs.

5. What's your workflow? Do you plan your websites out thoroughly or do you come up with the design as you go along?

My site was made with a Site Builder as a base, but I decorated it and modified the code as I went.

Web design, having a space for myself online

Iframe and tooltip...

9. Do you keep the same layout on all of your pages? Or do you use different ones?

It's mostly the same, I modified the code and layout as needed for certain pages.

Pretty confident with the basics, I still take a peek at w3schools when I need help though.

Yes, i just don't use lists that often

Figure out what layout is best for the page, and slap one of my pre-existing css codes on it

A little bit of both, but primarily content.

no, I don't see a need to own one

My site probably counts as one if you squint hard enough. they're cute.

No, but if it displays my content, I don't care.

Probably somewhat similar, I like complicated sites but it is unfortunately not for me.

No, some people spent more time learning how to code than I have and that's okay. #zen

neocities console, but sometimes I do things in notepad. I'm filling this out on my notepad right now!

Some files on neocities, I have most of my stuff on Filegarden & catbox.moe

Not much?

yes, I like bright cheery colors! I try to stay on a similar color scheme because it's easier to keep my color schemes accessible.

In the past, you can probably find my abandoned neocities websites online. that i forgot the email & passwords to.

I have a few friends on here! Hello! But none IRL.

Friends, my mom has a vague knowledge that I have a website.

Pretty often, either daily or 3x a week at minimum. I am unemployed.

Not really, I'm lazy and I'll only consider it if I get really sick of my current code.

My hobbies first, but I have some stuff about me on here.

I despise Discord but I'm on it to make friends.

I'm always listening to music. I've been getting back into black metal & noise.

One, too much work to have a whole seperate site

My site is mostly focused around my art, since I needed a space to post my stuff uncensored, but I talk about a lot of things

I grew up with stranger danger & computer safety. I don't give out my instagram freely, but my friends on there know me way better than on here.

ever since 2020, people have been putting sensitive information everywhere online for everyone to see. We don't need to know your ASL and every diagnosis... you are putting yourself at risk...

I use firefox. i dont know what this looks like for other browsers or screens.

somewhat, I need to fix the floated images to adjust with screen size. I added a button to hide a floated image on my blog, i should add it throughout the site.

my laptop is almost always muted unless im listening to music/playing a game, so it doesnt affect me much.

they're fun and a great way to find people with similar interests!

html, i've gotten my basic CSS down and only modify it if i need a new layout

When I first came back to neocities, i was working it out as I went. now i only make new pages when I need to.
