"Follow Chud on his fight against Dr Soystein's 'jak army in this spine-tingling survival shooter." (Steam description)
5.14.26 Yes, this game is as ridiculous as it sounds. I used my wageslave money to buy this and play from my cuckthrone. It's a survival shooter and you unlock upgrades as you kill enemies. The game doesn't take itself seriously and so it's unfair to review this seriously.

"This Co-op Shooter, has Day and Night levels, multiple maps, players will take on 25 enemy types and numerous bosses, like Gargantuan Monsters and Minibosses every 10 days as you explore, shoot and run for your life against the onslaught of porcine monstrosities."(Steam description)
5.4.26 I watched Muyskerm play this game when I was a kid, and I recently remembered it existed because of a random Instagram Reel about Princess Blubbergut. This is one of several games that I bought myself after only being able to watch Youtubers play them when I was a kid. You can probably tell that I have an affinity for gross-out humor and stupid games. The game isn't great and it's repetitive, but I didn't expect perfection from a one dollar game where you shoot mutant pigs. As of writing, I'm on level 31.

"POSTAL Redux is a high definition remake of the classic dark and surreal twin-stick isometric shooter. Take control of The POSTAL Dude as he fights to survive in a world gone mad with violence."(Steam description)
5.14.26 I got basically everything out of Postal 1997 so I've been playing around with Redux. Postal 1997's (and Redux) gameplay and aesthetics are unapologetically edgy and oppressive. The game doesn't handhold or punish you for how you play: You can choose to only kill the hostiles or eliminate the whole population. Redux smoothed out some issues from the original game and refined some of the visuals. Plus, you can give Dude a pink trenchcoat in Redux! Redux stays truthful to the original game with the exception of the ending. The 1997 games ending was meant to instill dread as you read the level transition card. It was changed in Redux because it didn't hold the same weight anymore. What was once an unimaginable, uncrossable line is now a common terror in American society.

"Set in the zombie apocalypse, Left 4 Dead 2 is a co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns." (Steam description)
5.13.26 I've gotten a little sick of Left 4 Dead 2 because I've played it so much recently, but I've been playing around with new mods. The Nicky (Workshop) mod is so scary, I love it. It's just a cosmetic mod that reskins all of the infected with Nick, but sometimes the simplest mods are the best. The screenshots in order is a Tank, common, Witch & Spitter. I usually play as Nick, but as you can see in the top right corner of the last image.. I have a little mod (Workshop) installed...

"You awake to the sound of your own panicked breath. In Manhunt, you must run, hide and fight to survive. If you can stay alive long enough, you may find out who did this to you. This is a brutal blood sport." (Steam description)
5.8.26 I'm a big fat liar and I'm including games I'm replaying here. Bite me. The version on Steam is a lazy fucking 'unofficial official' crack that doesn't work without a patch. I'm a fat fool and I bought it with my real money several years ago. I learned very quickly what had happened when I was unable to get past the first gate.
Despite this, the game is fun, challenging, and one of my favorite stealth games. There was a few missions? scenes? whatever they're called that were difficult because the hunters kept bugging out. The Skinz (white supremacist hunters) were a pain in the ass because they kept getting stuck on shit and they wouldn't get out of 'alerted' mode!!! Is this a common issue or am I just unlucky? I'm hoping that this is just a little hiccup and not a common issue through the game. I'm currently on Strapped For Cash and I haven't seen this issue with the Wardog hunters.

"Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines delivers a new type of RPG experience-one that blends all the core elements of a traditional RPG with the graphical richness, immediacy and brutal combat of a first-person action game. The game plunges players into the dark and gritty vampire underworld of modern-day L.A. as a creature of the night. Players will develop their character's powers, interact with other characters and embark on story-driven quests as they battle mortals and other vampires with an incredible array of vampire powers and weapons. Powered by Valve's Source Technology, the game is based on White Wolf's popular Vampire: The Masquerade pen-and-paper RPG series and its official clans." (Steam description)
5.6.26 So, I kind of lied when I said that this page would only include new games, but what are rules for if not breaking? I haven't played this in a loooonngg time and I never finished it, so it basically counts. It's unplayable without the Patch, which is the usual story for older games on Steam... I bought it a few years ago when it was on sale, and I've picked it up again. I fucking love this game. Vampires, vampire politics, goth music, 2004 graphics.. what isn't there to love? There's some moments where it's buggy and I have to savescum when interacting with some objects lest they become completely unusable (Rolf's trunk, for example), but if we look past that It's an awesome game. I haven't decided on my alignment yet, but I think the Camarilla are gay. I'll probably do a few playthroughs to try out the factions & different options. But I'm still kind of early in the game, and I'll update this as I progress and make important choices. Speaking of important choices, during the Tourette conflict I accidentally had Jeanette killed... and I didn't have a recent save to go back to.... oops. Sorry Jeanette. I like both Therese and Jeanette, and maybe I'll try to spare the both of them in a different playthrough.
5.9.26 I haven't played in a few days but I got some stuff done! I completed a handful of missions in Downtown & Hollywood. I had another fuck-up and I'm not able to get Pisha as an ally!!!!! Fuck my life!!! Pisha is so cool but redoing a lot of stuff isn't worth it for me. Again, I will try to get her in my next play-through... I have partially completed the mission Going The Way Of Kings, I do noottt like Tzimisce's creations at all. I hate these ugly little things and their gross noises. I need to go through the Nosferatu Warrens to complete the quest and I'm dreading it.
